defentry is a b2b saas company founded 2015. with our personal cyber protection package our mission is to put an end to identity theft. we offer our platform as a white label solution to security companies and insurance companies across europe. who in turn can incorporate it in their customer offer. identity theft is a crime increasing every year and it is largely linked to data leaks where people's personal data and login credentials are stolen. people generally reuse the same passwords over and over again. so if data is leaked from one web site a hacker will often be able to access many more. defentry believes that the answer to this is to help consumers and sme's to identify early if their data has leaked. that way they can take immediate precautions. such as changing their passwords. data shows that people seldom change their passwords even after it has been leaked. we believe this is proof of consumers and sme's not being aware that their data and password has come into the hands of hackers. the defentry platform solves that problem. at defentry we have developed a cyber safety tech platform that constantly monitor if our users personal data or passwords have leaked and then we instantly alert the user who can take precautions. our database contains billions of personal data sets and is updated continuously. during 2021 we added on average two data leaks per day to our database. each of them contained on average more than 6 million pieces of personal data. at defentry we know that even with alerts in place sometimes the worst happen and an identity fraud is committed anyway. therefore we have added a complete range of identity protection services to our platform. bank account and credit card monitoring instantly identifies suspicious transactions. governmental data and credit data makes the monitoring complete. on top of that we offer 24 hour personal assistance and fraud insurance to help handle the effects if a fraud has succeeded.
